LCD TV LOEWE INDIVIDUAL 32 HD+ 32 inches / 81 cm

Known for its high-end televisions, look very studied, Loewe loaned us an Individual 32 HD + chassis equipped with the new HD +: a 32-inch model, incorporating a digital VCR, with a slab HD Ready (1366 x 768 dots ), but compatible with the input signals 1080p. It is a fact so rare with this kind of TV to be worth mentioning.

In fact, this is due to the compatibility chassis HD + will gradually penetrate the entire range Loewe. It can receive and record all HD programs, whether delivered via DTT, cable or satellite. With the latter, you must still go through an optional module, as for the pay channels.

The recordings are stored on a hard disk of 120 GB internal TV. Its usage is straightforward and operates like any built-in digital video box to a DSL or cable. In addition to the standard functions of registration, it offers the timeshifting to pause programs viewed live.

Always paying attention to detail, Loewe has integrated a system of automatic brightness adjustment. It varies depending on the lighting in the room. An automation, but not always happy with at least the advantage of being disabled. What we have done before submitting the HD + 32 Individual our tests. Properly adjusted, it delivers a bright image (224 cd / m) and dense black (0.18 cd / m), which can measure a contrast to 1244:1 (for 1200:1 announced). It is even possible to descend to the dark 0.12 cd / m, but at the cost of a sharp drop in the brightness that makes more than 160 cd / sqm.

Before turning image quality specific to each source, we dwell a bit on the improvements of images available. First, we find the traditional DMM, which is now present on many televisions. It is a process that adds images between 24 frames / sec movies. The result is satisfactory, but gives a video which distorts the aspect of the film is also the case among competitors. In addition, there is quite marked defects on fast moving objects. We prefer pictures a little more jerky, but which give the impression of watching a movie cinema. We therefore disable this mode… that others may prefer to activate.

Similarly, the image mode +, darkens the dark parts, thus giving a false sense of contrast. It is certainly flattering, but it distorts the image calibrated by the director. Again, we came to disable this mode - something we do regularly with competitors. The most beautiful images are often those that appear without additional filter.
